Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes national park.

 Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and greeted by our friendly driver
guide from gorilla safaris africa. He will welcome then brief your trip plan the 3 days Rwanda gorilla safari

Basing on your arrival time in Rwanda, you can decide to embark on city tour in Kigali as you explore all key and important land marks such as the Kigali genocide, markets and may more. Enjoy your en-route lunch with in Kigali.

Before you know it, you will be transferred to Volcanoes national park where you will check in at gorilla lodge for relaxation, overnight stay and dinner.

Accommodation: Amarembo by touch down (luxury), Five Volcanoes Lodge (midrange) Lebambou lodge (budget)

 Meal plan: Full board.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking at Volcanoes & Ibwiwachu visit.

 On this day, you will have a great time meeting with the mountain gorillas in Volcanoes national park! After a tasty breakfast, you guide will pick you from the lodge. You will head for briefing by ranger guides at 7:30 and at 8:30am with packed lunch. You will start the trek to hunt for the gorillas and after finding them you will spend with them a maximum of 1 hour.

This walk can take 4-5 hours depending on where you meet the gorillas. The park is steep, it is a real hiking and being physically fit is recommended. After lunch, you will be taken to the Ibwiwachu community the gorilla guidance community. This afternoon you will visit the Ibwiwachu community where you will be introduced to the traditional Rwanda through traditional; dances, poems, dressing codes among others.

Day 3: Golden monkey trekking & transfer to Kigali.

 After breakfast, you will proceed to the park briefing point for simple briefing about the dos and dents of golden monkey trekking.

This will take us through the edges of the forest via potato fields and means the trekking will take us 3-4 hours after the trekking, unlike gorillas, golden monkeys have a right colour thus easy spotting them faster. After viewing them, we shall return to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will check out of the lodge and transfer back to Kigali for your flight back home.
