Detailed itinerary for 14 Days Uganda Safari Adventure

Day 1:  Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Our tour guide will be waiting for you at Entebbe International Airport, holding a placard with your names. Depending on your arrival time, you will be taken on a quick city tour of Kampala and Entebbe or transferred to your chosen lodging in Kampala or Entebbe for supper and sleep. The Kasubi tombs, Namugongo Marty’s shrine, the shores of Lake Victoria, the Uganda Museum, and other attractions are open for visitors. Dinner and Night

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Following breakfast, our company driver guide will pick you up from your hotel and give you a brief overview of the tour. Afterward, you’ll travel through Masindi and Luweero-Nakasongola to arrive at Murchison Falls National Park. Your journey will include a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos. Lunch will be enjoyed in Masindi town. After lunch, proceed to the park to enjoy the falls. This area of the park is truly captivating. At the top of the falls, you can witness the grandeur of the powerful Nile River as its waters thunder through a 7-meter fissure that plunges 45 meters deep. Head to your designated accommodation area for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Game drive and launch cruise
Following breakfast, you will set off on a game drive through the northern section of the park. The game drive promises encounters with elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and a variety of antelopes including bush bucks and water bucks, as well as Kobs, warthogs, and other remarkable park species. After lunch, you will embark on a launch cruise along the Albert Nile. Observe the riverbanks for animals that thrive in water, including crocodiles, elephants quenching their thirst, hippos, and various bird species. After the launch cruise, you’ll head back to your resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Following breakfast, you’ll set off for Kibale Forest National Park. Prepare to be amazed by breathtaking views leading to the park, particularly of the magnificent Rwenzori Mountains in Kasese. Furthermore, you will encounter various Hoima homesteads, tea and banana plantations, as well as local residences. Following lunch in Hoima, you will travel to Fort Portal, reaching your destination in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest and Bigodi swamp walk
Your journey will start early in the morning as you head to Kanyanchu for an exciting chimpanzee adventure in Kibale Forest. At the park, you will receive guidance on appropriate conduct around gorillas. While you explore the habitat of these remarkable chimps, you’ll encounter a diverse array of other primate and animal species, including the LHoests monkey, the black and white colobus monkey, the red-tailed monkey, the grey-cheeked mangabey, bush babies, and various bird species like the yellow-spotted nictor, ramped tinker, and crowned eagle, along with elephants.
This national park, situated at an elevation of 3,300 feet, features a rain forest that is home to a significant population of chimpanzees. Each troop of chimps consists of over 100 members, creating a dynamic social structure. Adult males maintain authority within their community, consistently safeguarding the group from external dangers and male incursions. By listening to their pant-hooting calls, one can easily locate these primates and quickly reach the spot from which they are calling. You can observe them as they play, eat, interact with each other, and leap through the trees.
Following the lengthy journey, you will make your way back to the resort for lunch before setting off to explore the Bigodi wetland. After a busy day, you’ll head back to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check out of your accommodations. This national park is well-known for its varied wildlife, which includes chimps. This well-known conservation area is bordered by Lake Edward to the southwest and Lake George to the northeast. The park is home to a variety of animals, including impalas, Kobs, wild pigs, elephants, buffaloes, tree-climbing lions, and cape buffaloes. Throughout the year, flamingos live in the national park’s several volcanic calderas. When you arrive in Queen Elizabeth, you will eat lunch at the lodge before relaxing for the afternoon.

Day 7: Game drive and Launch cruise

Begin the day with an early morning game drive to see more of the park’s wildlife, including lions, leopards, and other creatures. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 500 bird species and the perfect habitat for the big five mammals. Some of the bird species to see at the park include kingfishers, black bee-eaters, falcons, eagles, and other raptors. Queen is linked to Lake George and Lake Edward via the Kazinga Channel, which runs through the western part of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
After the game drive, return to your resort for lunch before embarking on an evening boat tour around the Kazinga Channel. This canal connects Lake Edward and George, which attracts a variety of fauna. You can see elephants, buffaloes, and hippos along the riverbanks. spotted hyenas,Lions,  leopards,  waterbuck, bushbuck, stripped jackal, grazing hippos, and, of course, warthogs are common sightings. Following the cruise, you’ll drive to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park.

After breakfast, you will journey to Bwindi Park via the Ishasha sector, which is known for its unique tree-climbing lions. Keep a look out for the unusual fig tree climbing lions. Continue on until you get at Buhoma in the evening, where you will have dinner, rest briefly, and spend the night.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking experience
Today is the day to experience these magnificent apes in their natural environment. After you finish breakfast and pack your lunch, you will be taken to the park headquarters for a gorilla safety briefing.
Once you have your guide, your adventure will commence. The duration can vary from one to eight hours, influenced by the gorillas’ walking patterns, the time needed, and the type of terrain. The pleasure of in-person interaction eases the burden of a frequently long and exhausting trip. Each encounter is unique and offers distinct benefits, and you will likely appreciate the close-up view of adults dining, grooming, and relaxing while youngsters joyfully cavort and swing from vines. After tracking, you will return to your lodge for the evening.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
You will depart from Bwindi after breakfast and travel to Lake Bunyonyi. Along the way, you will be able to appreciate the spectacular landscape views of the Kigezi highland. You will be required to settle into your lodge for an overnight stay and lunch.

Day 11: Full day at Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast, you will embark on a full-day boat excursion around the lake, stopping at numerous small islands. The lake is home to nearly 38 islands, each of which was named after the species of avian that inhabits it. On one of the islands, you will have the opportunity to visit the Pygmy communities for entertainment following lunch. Return to your lodge to recuperate following dinner.

Day 12: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
When your done breakfast, you will make your way to Lake Mburo National Park from the Cold Kabale neighbourhood. You will drive into the park and start a game drive through the Nshara gate after lunch in Mbarara town. Keep an eye out for zebras, water and bush bucks, impalas, Kobs, and other animals. You arrive at your lodge in time for dinner and the night.

Day 13: Game drive and boat ride on Lake Mburo.

Get up early and get off on your exciting game drive, traveling to several areas of the park to see a variety of species. Numerous species, including antelopes, elephants, giraffes, Kobs, and many more, will be visible to you.
Following the conclusion of your game drive, you will be transported to the lodge for lunch and other refreshments. After this, set off on a boat trip where you will see a variety of aquatic birds, crocodiles, and hippos. Watch for park creatures drinking along the shores of the lake.

Day 14: Transfer back to Kampala
Before heading to Kampala, you go on a morning nature walk through the Rubanga forest after breakfast. Apart from making a quick stop at the Equator for water experiments, you will also get to stand at the intersection of the two hemispheres. Proceed and make a second stop at Mpambire Drum Village, also called the Drum Making Village. During the day, travel to Kampala. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.
