Pick-up: On the initial day of the 3 Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour, you will be collected from Entebbe/Kampala. The journey from Entebbe/Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, located in southwestern Uganda, takes about 8-9 hours.

Travel: You will make a stop in Kayabwe, close to the equator, for some experiments and photographs before proceeding to Mbarara for lunch. After lunch, you will embark on a picturesque drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you can take in stunning vistas of verdant plantations, undulating hills, and the magnificent Virunga mountains.

Just make sure your cameras are easily accessible, and your driver will be more than happy to stop whenever you wish, giving you the chance to seize those memorable moments.

 You will reach the reserved lodge in the evening, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Following a delicious breakfast, your guide will take you to the Park Headquarters for an informative briefing. You will get the opportunity to connect with other participants before embarking on your gorilla journey into the wilderness.

This amazing experience can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on where the mountain gorilla family is that day.

The trekking experience: Upon locating the gorillas, only one hour is offered to spend with the gorillas for observation and capturing photographs. After this unforgettable experience, you will return to the Park Headquarters to collect your certificate, which confirms that you have successfully tracked gorillas in Uganda.

You will be treated to a beautiful view of the Kigezi rolling hills and the terraced gardens of the Bakiga People in Southwestern Uganda.

 Depending on your chosen path, your journey will feature picturesque drives. Since you’ll retrace the same route on your return, you’ll have another opportunity to stop at the Equator crossing for photos, souvenirs, or just to unwind before heading to Kampala/Entebbe.
