This 8 days Uganda Kenya Luxury Safari takes you to Uganda for Mountain Gorilla trekking and Kenya for annual wildebeest migration in Masai Mara. You land in Kigali, Rwanda, to make the short drive over to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park in Uganda and have an unforgettable meeting with the Mountain Gorillas.
To make the journey swift and comfortable you are then flown to Masai Mara via a night in Entebbe. The last few days are then spent exploring the vast Masai Mara including the highlight of a hot air balloon safari.
Day 1 of 8 days Uganda Kenya Luxury Safari: Arrival at Kigali airport
Welcome to Rwanda! Upon your arrival at Kanobe international Airport, our representative picks you and transfer to our Hotel des Mille Collines in Kigali to relax and get ready for the adventure starting the next day.
Day 2: Kigali city tour with genocide memorial center and transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast you go out for a city tour of Rwanda’s capital Kigali with a visit to the genocide memorial center, telling the story of the tragic time the country went through in 1994. After city tour you drive to Uganda through beautiful hilly landscape to Bwindi Mountains, a home of the mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge
Day 3 of 8 days Uganda Kenya Luxury Safari : Gorilla trekking
This is the day of the gorilla trekking, the first highlight of this Luxury Uganda & Kenya safari. Arrive at the gorilla trekking starting point and set off for your big adventure to see the great giants of the misty mountains. You trek in a group with a specialized guide and get to spend one hour with the mountain gorillas.
Besides the mountain gorillas this Impenetrable Forest is full of birds, butterfly and plant species plus forest hog; forest Elephants, Statungas and Duikers. After the trek your guide picks you and takes you back to Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge to relax.
Day 4: Flight to Entebbe & relaxed afternoon
Leave the misty mountains of Bwindi behind and fly to Entebbe for a relaxed afternoon at the luxury hotel during your last night in Uganda for this Luxury Uganda & Kenya safari. Dinner and overnight at imperial resort hotel
Day 5: Flight from Entebbe to Masai Mara & afternoon game-drive
Enjoy a relaxed morning at the hotel and then be transferred to the airport in time for your flight to Masai Mara in Kenya. At the airstrip you are picked by your guide who takes you to the lodge for check-in and then you get a first taste of what Masai Mara has to offer during an afternoon game-drive. Day 6 of 8 days Uganda Kenya Luxury Safari: Adventure in Masai Mara
The whole day is dedicated to game spotting in this sprawling reserve of Masai Mara. If you wake up with luck, you can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feasting on its kill. Option of a visit to a Masai village. This is for sure a day full of memories from our 8 days Luxury Uganda & Kenya Safari. Dinner and overnight at Bateleur Camp
Day 7: Hot air balloon safari in the morning & afternoon game-drive in Masai Mara
Wake up early morning for the adventure of a hot air balloon safari in Masai Mara. You spend one unforgettable hour floating above the Masai Mara, taking in the landscape and animals below. After the balloon safari you can choose to either have some rest before the game-drive or head straight out to explore more of the Masai Mara for top sightings of lions, leopard and Overnight at Bateleur Camp
Day 8 of 8 days Uganda Kenya Luxury Safari: Fly to Nairobi
This morning you leave Masai Mara behind with amazing wildlife memories as you make the journey to the airstrip where your guide drops you for the flight to Nairobi airport.
