Tour itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from you hotel in Kigali – transfer to Gisenyi in Lake Kivu.

On day one of 4 days Congo gorilla tour you will be picked on arrival and transfer you to Lake Kivu. Optional activities for this day is to visit the genocide memorial site in Kigali, or relax along lake kivu. Dinner and overnight at Asante lodge

Day 2: Cross into Goma – Congo – Start hiking mount Nyiragongo

On day two of 4 Days Congo gorilla tour have breakfast at your hotel and be ready to cross to Congo and drive to the starting point of nyiragongo, start the trekking after briefing and you will spend a night at the top of nyiragongo in cabins.

Day 3: Descend Nyiragongo – visit Goma town

On day three of 4 Days Congo gorilla tour you descend down and then transfer to Ihusi hotel, Bukima tented camp, Mikeno lodge in goma for dinner overnight.

Day 4: Virunga gorilla trekking – Transfer to Kigali for drop off

On day four of 4 Days Congo gorilla tour wake up at 6:00 am and drive to the starting point of gorilla trekking at Bukima for briefing and then start the gorilla trekking. After you drive to the boarder and cross to Rwanda side, Transfer back to kigali.
