Day1 of 20 Days Uganda Kenya ultimate cultural excursions: Arrival in Entebbe

On arrival at Entebbe international airport, our representative will welcome you and take you to your booked hotel. dinner and overnight at Forest cottages

Day 2 of 20 Days Uganda Kenya ultimate cultural excursions: Kampala – Jinja

You will be picked up in Kampala and travel to Jinja with stopover in Mabira Forest for zip-lining in the forest as well as a short nature walk before proceeding to Jinja. It is here that you will find the source of the Nile River, the Bujagali Falls where you will go for a relaxing boat cruise on the beautiful Nile.

After the boat cruise you will visit a scenic and cultural site for the Baganda people, the Ssezibwa Falls. Later in the evening you will check-in at the Nile Porch Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3 of 20 Days Uganda Kenya ultimate cultural excursions : white water rafting

An exciting day starts with breakfast which will be followed by an exciting white water rafting trip. You will choose from the different levels of experience to go rafting at one of the finest places for water rafting. The experience is challenging for first times but thrilling to last for a life time.

After your morning rafting trip you will grab a quick lunch and then take off on an afternoon boat cruise. After the cruise you will drive to Mbale and check-in at Casa Sipi Falls Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

 

Day 4 of 20 Days Uganda Kenya ultimate cultural excursions: Sipi Falls

After breakfast, you will hike to Sipi Falls where there are 3 main waterfalls. This hike is well worth the effort as it will provide a great vista of beautiful scenery. After the hike you will come back to the hotel for lunch and then visit the local coffee farms and households.

You will learn about the entire process of how coffee moves from the farm to the cup and then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 of 20 Days Uganda Kenya ultimate cultural excursions: Transfer to pian upe

Early after breakfast, drive to pian upe wildlife reserve, Uganda’s second-largest conserved area reaching there in time for lunch and later, evening game drive where you expect to see cheetahs, Jackals, Spotted hyenas, Leopards, Wildcat, Cape buffalo, Common eland, Giraffe, Impala birds including ostriches. Dinner and overnight at Rafiki Lodge Sipi.

Day 6 of 20 Days Uganda Kenya ultimate cultural excursions: cultural experience

Today is cultural experience as you hike to the summit to see cadama people who live in caves and back to hotel for transfer to moroto district and overnight at BMk hotel

Day 7: hike mount moroto

An exciting day starts with a morning breakfast which will be followed by a hike to mount moroto to visit peteshi tribe who live in the mountain due to inter tribe fighting between peteshi and matsenico people through storytelling and dances, afternoon visit matheniko plains

Day 8 : Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast you will check-out and head north to the world renowned Kidepo Valley National Park. There will be a brief stopover to enjoy the scenery along the winding road. You will stop for a hot lunch and then continue on to Kidepo Valley National Park; passing through Soroti Town and Kaabong.

Kidepo Valley National Park offers an abundance of wildlife especially big cats, buffalo, ostriches, zebra, and a variety of birds. You will check-in at the Apoka Lodge and then go on an evening game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 9 : Kidepo Valley National Park

You will rise very early for a sunrise game drive where you will catch the wildlife at their most active. You will return to the lodge for breakfast and then embark on a long game drive where you will spot tree-climbing lion, cheetah, ostrich, zebra, giraffe, elephant, and buffalo.

You will also have the chance to take a short hike that will give you a magnificent view of the flat unending landscape and after return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the local tribes of the Dodoth and Karamojong; nomadic pastoralists who are almost unaffected by civilization and who live in their traditional lifestyles and also watch some traditional dancing. Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and then settle in for the night.

Day 11 of 20 Days Uganda Kenya ultimate cultural excursions: drive to aru falls

Today you drive to aru falls and to gulu via sasa muli baker fort, visit local markets on the way, associate with the locals in packwach, visit the site of Gipir and Labongo where they separated on the Nile. Dinner and overnight at Chobe safari lodge

Day 12: Murchison Falls National Park

An exciting day starts with breakfast and visit the magnificent falls where you will enjoy and marvel at the mighty Nile River being forced through a seven meter crevice; thundering 45 meters below in a series of cascades that can be viewed at different viewpoints. Later in the evening you will check-in at the Heritage Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to the ferry and cross the Nile to the northern sector of the park and start your game drive towards the Delta area. The wildlife you will see on this drive includes giraffe, elephant, hartebeest, lion, warthog, kob, jackal, orbis, water buck, monkey and leopard and a variety of Savannah woodland birds.

you will go back to the lodge, relax, have lunch and later go for a boat cruise on the Nile. Game viewing on this cruise will be in close quarters where you get a chance to see hippo, crocodile, buffalo, elephant and a variety of water birds. Later in the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 14 of 20 Days Uganda Kenya ultimate cultural excursions: fly to Kisoro

Today catch a light aircraft flight from pakuba to Kisoro airstrip. After lunch visit the pygmy communities, see their way of living as they were the first inhabitant of the forest. Dinner and overnight at crowds lodge

Day 16 of 20 Days Uganda Kenya ultimate cultural excursions: Gorilla habituation

Early morning after breakfast, go to the park head offices for the briefing about Gorilla habituation and enter into the forest under the guidance of researcher and trained trackers in search of mountain gorillas. When you meet them take photos and the videos for four hour, have your packed lunch and return to lodge for your relaxation and dinner and overnight at clouds lodge

Day 15 of 20 Days people & culture excursions luxury Uganda & Kenya safari: gorilla trekking

Early morning after breakfast, go to the park head offices for the briefing about the park guidelines and enter into the forest in search of mountain gorillas.

When you meet them take photos and the videos for one hour, have your packed lunch and return to lodge for your relaxation and dinner and overnight at crowds lodge.

Day17: Fly back to Entebbe & Masai mara

An exciting day starts with a morning breakfast which will be followed by a light aircraft flight from Kisoro to Entebbe and then to Masai mara. Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara Safari Lodge

Day 18 of 20 Days Uganda Kenya ultimate cultural excursions: adventure in Masai mara

Enjoy early morning game drive where you expect to see animals such as lions, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, antelopes, giraffes and return to the lodge for lunch. Later go for evening game drive to see animals which you could have missed in the morning game drive. Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara Safari Lodge
