Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 of 6 days discounted safari: Arrival and transfer to Kibale National Park & visit the crater lakes region
Upon your arrival at the Airport, our company representative welcomes you and transfers you to Kibale National Park having stopover at Igongo cultural centre to have lunch as well as a visit to the museum to experience the culture of the Banyankole people. After proceed with your drive to Kibale forest having an overnight and dinner at Kibale Forest Camp- FB
Day 2 of 6 days discounted safari:Chimpanzee trekking & a visit to Bigodi wetland swamp
Have breakfast and proceed to the park headquarters for your briefing about the dos and don’ts of Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest by the rangers who will take you around in search for these chimps. On meeting with them, you are given one hour for interaction and then after get back to the lodge for a late lunch as you prepare to visit Bigodi wetland to see more primate species as well as birds. After, return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp- Full Board
Day 3 of 6 days discounted safari: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park & have a boat cruise on Kazinga channel
After breakfast, start your drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park that takes about 3 hours to reach the park. Upon your arrival, proceed for a game drive to view some animal species including; elephants, lions, Kobs, water bucks, buffaloes, antelopes and later lunch at the lodge as you prepare to have a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel to view some crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, as well as water birds. Later relax at the lodge as you wait for dinner and overnight at Enganzi Safari Lodge- Full Board
Day 4 of 6 days discounted safari: Morning game drive in Ishasha sector & transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national Park
Breakfast so early and then proceed with your drive to Ishasha sector to search for the tree climbing lions. Other animals such birds, antelopes, birds can be seen. After, proceed with your drive to Bwindi impenetrable National Park. Upon your arrival, have lunch and relax for the evening at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community rest Camp.- Full Board
Day 5 of 6 days discounted safari: Gorilla trekking & community walk
Have breakfast and proceed to the headquarters for your briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest by park rangers who will lead you in search of mountain gorillas, Once you come face to face with the gorillas, one full hour is given to interact with them as you take photos of these endangered species. After the trek, immerse yourself in the native culture to the nearby communities as you get to learn about their way of living. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Rest Camp- Full Board
Day 6 of 6 days discounted safari: Departure
Enjoy your last safari in Bwindi forest park this morning before transferring to Kampala. You have lunch at Igongo cultural center restaurant and then proceed with your drive later on. The guide either drops you at the hotel in Kampala or takes you to the Airport to catch your departure flight.
