Day 1 of 3 days luxury gorilla trekking safaris in Congo: Transfer from Kigali to Goma- Bukima in DRC
Wake up in the morning and the guide picks and drives you through Kigali heading to the Bukima in DRC. This will take you 4 hours to reach Goma where you will have a stopover for lunch and refreshments. Later, you are transferred to Bukima reaching in the evening for dinner and overnight at Mikeno lodge. Meal plan: Full board
Day 2 of 3 days luxury gorilla trekking safaris in Congo: Gorilla trekking in Virunga National Park
Have breakfast and then transfer to the park head quarters for the briefing by the rangers for the dos and donts of gorilla trekking and after proceed in search of mountain gorillas. you are given one hour of interaction with the gorillas as you take photos once you find them. Dinner and overnight at Mikeno lodge. Meal plan: Full board
Day 3 of 3 days luxury gorilla trekking safaris in Congo: Transfer back to Kigali for departure
Have breakfast and then transfer back to Kigali for a city tour, visit the genocide memorial center, markets for shopping and many more. After, the guide takes you to the airport to catch your flight back home.
