This 1 Day luxury gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda is the best with travelers who have little time. It requires those visitors who are ready in Kigali city and it needs an early pick up and a late drop off. You set off at 4:30 for a 2 hour drive to Volcanoes National Park found in Musanze province, home to the endangered mountain gorillas.
Upon arrival, enjoy breakfast at the lodge and then proceed to the park head quarters at Kinigi for your briefing by the park warden and by 8:30 am, the tour ranger will transfer you to the starting point of the gorilla trek. The gorilla groups are situated to the guests at random at the park head quarters.
The experienced guides have over time built a strong relationship with the park wardens. These talk to them before time and get to express the client’s interests in specific gorilla groups. The trek lasts from 1 to 8 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas.
