Day 1 of the 10 days discounted gorilla safari: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon your arrival at the Airport, our company representative welcomes you and takes you to your booked hotel in Kampala. Overnight at Forest cottages Kampala.
Day 2 of the 10 days discounted gorilla safari: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Drive to Kibale forest for a full day of 8 hours. Pass through the beautiful agricultural countryside where you meet every type of Fruits and vegetables grown here. Enjoy the scenery of Rwenzori Mountains commonly known as mountains of the moon. Drive through the beautiful tea plantations and into Kibale tropical rain forest. Overnight and diner at Chimpanzee forest Guest House- Full board
Day 3 of the 10 days discounted gorilla safari: Chimpanzee trekking & a visit to Bigodi wetland swamp
Have breakfast and proceed to the park headquarters for your briefing about chimpanzee trekking by the park ranger who leads you to start your search for the primates. Once you meet them, you are given 1 hour to interact with these endangered species as you take some photos of them. Return to the lodge for lunch and then proceed to Bigodi swamp wetland to view more primate species. After get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Forest guest House- Full board
Day 4 of the 10 days discounted gorilla safari: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park & boat cruise on Kazinga channel
Have breakfast in the morning and then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through fort portal with hope of seeing the glaciated peaks. When you reach the park, check in at the lodge and proceed for an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel. After, get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 5 of the 10 days discounted gorilla safari: Morning game drive & transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Have breakfast proceed for a morning game drive where you will see many animal species including the tree climbing lions, elephants, kobs, antelopes and many bird species. Proceed with your drive to Bwindi impenetrable National park, the capital of mountain gorillas. Upon your arrival, check in to the lodge for dinner at Buhoma community rest camp/ Rushaga gorilla camp
Day 6 of the 10 days discounted gorilla safari: first day Gorilla trekking & a community walk
Early morning after breakfast, proceed to the headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking by park rangers who will lead you in search of mountain gorillas; Once you find them, you are given 1 full hour to interact with them as you take photos of these endangered species. Have lunch at the lodge and then proceed for a community walk to the nearby communities as you get to learn about their way of living. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp – Full Board
Day 7 of the 10 days discounted gorilla safari: second day gorilla trekking
After breakfast, proceed to the headquarters for your briefing about gorillas by park rangers who will lead you in search of endangered species. Once you come face to face with the gorillas, you are given 1 full hour to interact with them as you take photos of these endangered species. After, return to the lodge for a late lunch and relax at the lodge for the evening.
Day 8 of the 10 days discounted gorilla safari: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & evening game drive
Have breakfast and then start your drive to Lake Mburo National Park. The drive is 6 to 7 hours and it’s good for birding, antelopes, impalas, zebras, water bucks, buffaloes, 310 recorded bird species. There are both day and night game drives. Upon your arrival, you engage in an evening game drive to see many animals mentioned above. Overnight at Eagle’s nest Lodge.
Day 9 of the 10 days discounted gorilla safari: Morning guided walk & afternoon boat cruise
Have breakfast at the lodge and then proceed for a guided walk in the park where you will view many animal species including the antelopes, impalas, zebras, water bucks, buffaloes, and many more. After return to the lodge for lunch and after proceed for an afternoon boat cruise on the lake to see hippos, crocodiles, water birds and many more. Overnight at Eagle’s nest Lodge
Day 10 of the discounted gorilla safari: Departure back to Kampala
Have breakfast at the Lodge and then drive to Kampala having lunch en route. Have a stopover at the Mpambire drum makers before proceeding to Kampala. The guide will either drop you at the airport or at the hotel in Kampala.
